Empower Simcoe offers professional, in-home services through the Ontario Autism Program (OAP), provided by a Registered Behaviour Analyst (Ont.) and OAP Approved Provider. Services are available for direct purchase through our Fee For Service model and can be claimed through your Core Clinical Services funding.
Available Service Packages:
Package 1: Brief Consultation – $1500
This comprehensive service is provided by an Ontario Autism Program Approved Provider and Registered Behaviour Analyst (Ont.). This package includes an initial intake, a detailed consultation process, and a summary/discharge report to share with school supports and other relevant parties. Services come to you- all services will be provided in-home.
Ideal Goals:
- communication — how individuals communicate and understand others to meaningfully participate in activities of daily life
- social interaction — how individuals participate in social situations, shared activities and interactions with others (groups, peers, new settings)
- play and leisure — how individuals engage in play and recreation, independently and with others
- activities of daily living — how individuals complete daily tasks, such as getting dressed and eating
- motor skills — how individuals participate in activities that involve using fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and coordinating their movements such as writing and walking
- cognitive skills — how individuals follow instructions, concentrate and solve problems
- sensory system — how individuals manage reactions to stimuli
- interfering behaviours — how individuals manage behaviours that may impact their ability to participate safely in activities of daily life
Included:
- Free phone consultation
- Intake meeting
- Direct observation, interviews, assessment, or support
- Data collection development
- Note compilation, planning, graphing, file and historical documentation review, research, and report writing
- Parent or caregiver training or coaching session(s) (up to 2 hours)
- Closing consultation with parents/ caregivers to review summary report
- Optional letter of recommendations for technology, program materials and/or therapy equipment to support the use of your core clinical services funding

Package 2: Letter of Recommendations
This service is provided by an Ontario Autism Program Approved Provider and Registered Behaviour Analyst (Ont.). This package includes a brief initial intake/ assessment up to 1 hour, and a letter of recommendations. This package is ideal if you are not looking for assessment, coaching, or data compilation. To claim expenses for technology, program materials and/or therapy equipment on your core clinical services expense form, you must have an invoice for these expenses with this letter of recommendation from your service provider.
