What to Expect:

• Week 1: Welcome & Introductions
  • Meet your fellow artists, create personalized sketchbooks, and design your own artist portfolio.
• Week 2: Art and Nature
  • Explore the beauty of nature through art by painting wooden birdhouses and creating leaf impressions with pastels.
• Week 3: Drawing
  • Learn to use art as a form of storytelling. Create a self-portrait and learn the basics of architectural drawing.
• Week 4: Watercolours
  • Experiment with colours and emotions. Create an abstract painting and an emotions colour wheel to visually express your feelings.
• Week 5: Mixed Media
  • Discover how everyday objects can become artistic materials. Experiment with mixed media to create stunning collages.
• Week 6: Acrylic Painting
  • Capture a memory through landscape painting, using acrylics to bring your favorite moments to life.
• Week 7: Card Making
  • Create meaningful art with a purpose by designing personalized cards to spread kindness and joy.
• Week 8: Celebration & Exhibit
  • Complete any unfinished projects and celebrate the creative journey with a group showcase of all the art created throughout the program.
