Understanding Social Boundaries Through Fun and Learning
Empower Simcoe’s Circles Program is a 6-week after-school series designed to help youth explore and understand social boundaries and healthy relationships in a fun, supportive environment. Using a simple, colour-coded model, participants learn to recognize the different “circles” of relationships—from strangers to close friends and family—and the appropriate behaviours that go along with each.
Through engaging activities, videos from the James Stanfield collection, drawings, games, and group discussions, youth will gain valuable tools for building safe and respectful connections in their everyday lives. This program is ideal for youth who are navigating the complexities of socializing in school, community, and online settings.
